Just joined to see what all the hubub is about on Pinterest. Now I’m pretty sure it’s going to be a new addiction. Pretty neat way to share bookmarks and organize inspiring ideas and information.
Hi. My name is Zach, and I have a problem. I’ve always loved to find old videotapes or cheezy training videos and such online. One of my favorite places to find such shit his Everything Is Terrible. It’s a delight of untouched or chopped and screwed found footage that should have been forgotten long ago. Really, it should be illegal to have this stuff see the light of day ever again. From the hilarious to almost terrifyingly odd, they’ve got it. Here’s a sample:

I thought I would actually write a post with actual words for once. I’ve never gotten to actually formally introduce myself to this particular endeavor. You’ve probably already discovered (if you got here via my homepage) that my name is Zach and that I’m studying Radio, Television and Film at the University of North Texas. I’ve had many blogs in the past; none of them have been very popular or active. I moved to tumblr to hopefully change that. Having an app on my phone that allows me to post stupid shit at random really helps keep the page fresh.
The last time I posted on any of my former blogs was a couple of semesters ago. Now, I’m in my final semester. To be honest, it’s a pretty terrifying thought. After college, that’s it! You’re in the real world, buster. No more easygoing senior-level electives. No more living it up on financial aid refunds. You’re living life, now. Most importantly, time to get a full-time job. Hopefully that will be sorted out before I graduate. Even if it’s not a job in the media field, I’ll be pleased as punch to get any job I’m good at in this economy. If I do get a full-time job soon after graduation, I’ll most likely take some grad-level courses on the side.
I also have been in the planning stages of getting a side business off the ground. Hopefully I can get something together that allows me to do some IT work along with the audio/visual skills I’ve learned in school. But for now, school’s priority number one.
Well, this has been yet another rambling post on yet another blog for me. Hope you now know a bit more about me. Now I’ll continue with the lolcat pics and random shit. Enjoy.
